Advate approved for storage at room temperature
Baxter`s Advate FVIII concentrate product has just been approved by the European Union for storage at room temperature for up to 2 months out of its 24 month shelf life. The approval follows a recommendation by the European Medicines Agency after studies showing that the efficacy of the product is not impaired by up to 2 months storage at room temperature.
This is good news for users of Advate, as travelling will be much easier since special packaging and cooling of the product is no longer necessary during the travel.
