The world as you have never seen it before
If you have ever wondered what the world would look like if land was distributed evenly among countries according to population, have a look at this map made by the Worldmapper project.
They have taken a world map and drawn each country to a scale that does not represent the area of the country, but instead some quantifiable statistic, like population. At the moment they have 227 different maps.

This is quite something interesting you have found Christian. While some are funny, other maps cannot bring you a smile... But still it`s all good things to see!

I just found another interesting site that visualises differences around the world. It lets you plot two different measures on two axes and then you can animate the graph along the time axis. Hard to explain, just check it out! :-)
