Do you mean welcome as in `Welcome to my party` or as in `the welcome`?
Anyways, I translated the both:
In English: hello / welcome (to my party) / (the) welcome / peace
In Dutch: hallo / welkom / ontvangst / vrede
In German: hallo / wilkommen / Empfang / Frieden
In French: bonjour / bienvenue / accueil / paix
In Latin: salve / acceptus (not sure) / ? / pax

In Danish: hallo (when on the phone) | hej (when meeting someone on the street) / velkommen (to my party) | velkomst (the welcome) / fred
In Russian: ?????? [privet] / ????? ?????????? [dobro poshalovat] (to my party) ... don`t know the other one / ??? [mir] (which was the name of the famous Russian space station and also happens to mean "world" :-) )

Hi Cicero
Sorry for the late reply, but my wife and I got back from Melbourne about three weeks ago. Also I have spent the last two weeks in bed with a bad bleed into my left knee joint.
Ok the reason why I want different translations of the same word is that I WAS going to do an abstract painting with all these words. But it didn`t work out in then end.
I have thought of another way which well work, but once again I need everybody`s help, for me to achieve this.
I need "HOME SWEET HOME" translated into as many different language as I can get.
Thank you all for helping me.
Brett

Hi Brett, thanks for the update. I hope you knee is recovering okay.
In Danish, HOME SWEET HOME would be HJEM KÆRE HJEM, although as a phrase it is not used much.

The closest French expression to "home sweet home" is "bien chez soi". It means good at home.
