When those helping end up needing help...

This is amazing story about Richard Pezzillo, whom some of you may have met in Vancouver. As a volunteer to help those who have had their homes destroyed by hurrican Katrina in Mississippi, he went with his school to join the rebuilding effort. While he was there, he suffered a bleed into his knee. Despite quick treatment, the bleeding continued and was only stopped with a dose of NovoSeven, normally only used for people with factor VII deficiency. At that time, he could not bend his knee, and now instead of being the one helping, he was the one needing help.
Through a number of people, he got in contact with a charity organization called Angel Flights, that arranged his flight home to Rhode Island.
It really is a remarkable story. You can read the full story as brought in a local newspaper.

Great story and a good example to follow. It would be interesting to know if Richard has any inhibitors?
