Hi Miguel,

I do not know anyone who has had their gallbladder removed, but I do know that surgery on anyone with haemophilia must be carried out under the supervision of doctors attached to a haemophilia treatment centre. But I assume that has already been arranged for you?
Anyway, before surgery a high dose of factor will be injected to keep the factor level well above the 30% limit that is considered normal. Factor will be administered at regular intervals to keep the factor level high, while the wounds heal. I really do not think surgery om haemophiliacs is more dangerous than with other people, but the proper precautions obviously need to be taken.
Good luck with the operation.

Many thanks Cicero! Sure, my doctor in the Hemophilia Centre went to my yesterday cirurgy briefing, and sure she´ll take every precautions. The ideia is to taken Novo Seven for the days that will be necessary for safelly purposes.with intervals of 2 hours. It will be in the last week of June, so I have plenty of time to prepare myself.
The worst thing is the diet:( no fat food at all :)
