Going to a gig
The Danish youth group is organizing a social activity, where we will go out and eat together and then head to a concert with the Danish band Kashmir. We are trying to get a lot of new faces to come along, and so far it looks very promising. Most of those who have signed up, have not previously attended our activities.
We deliberately made this a 100% social event with no lectures or deep discussions to attract a different crowd. Seems to have worked. Now if we can only get them to come along for our next activity too...
I wonder whether young people in other countries would rather have these social events or they prefer activities with a focus on topics related to bleeding disorders? Any thoughts on this?
PS: Kashmir played warm-up to the Australian band "Something for Kate" in Adelaide and Melbourne recently, so some of you Aussies may have heard them.
