WFH Office

Have you ever wondered what the World Federation of Hemophilia's offices look like? Well, perhaps not so different from many other offices, but thanks to our man in the field, David, you can have a glimpse into the very heart of the WFH.

Text and photos by David Pouliot (cosmosVIII).

In my answers to the Los-Bleedos questionnaire I mentioned something about Frank Schnabel and the creation of the WFH.  Well it happens that Frank Schnabel lived in Montreal (the city where I live), and since he is the founder of the WFH, it is for that reason that the WFH offices are situated in the same city.

Recently I did a little visit to the WFH office and brought with me my camera to show you the following shots so that you could have an idea of where are working some of the people you might have talked with or saw at the World Congress.

The WFH office is in the red brick building, on the tenth floor.  The CHS office is in fact not very far from where we are in the photo.

Again, it's the building that houses the WFH office, but this time we see it in a larger panel by a cloudy Monday in Montreal...

This is the reception.  The WFH has a lot of staffs and rooms.  On the wall behind the person at the reception desk we can see some familiar posters of the WFH.

This is one of the conference room of the WFH; in other words, most probably one of the rooms where a few ideas were decided!
