A group work exercise where the participants try to evaluate which of four treatment products is the optimal when a trade-off must be made between safety, effect, availability and price. This exercise was from a session on conducting tender processes for large-scale purchase of treatment products.

Four European youth delegates watch the Eurovision Song Contest, which was - to everyone's surprise - won by Finland. To those not familiar with the contest, it is an annual event in which 25 European countries participate with one song and then the winner is found by a telephone voting process.

A group of NMO Training participants relax at the bar next to the Delta hotel.

WFH President Mark Skinner is presented with an amazing traditional outfit as a gift from the Haemophilia Society of Kazakhstan.

The WFH staff involved in the organisation of the NMO Training receive a well deserved round of applause.

The Vancouver Exhibition and Convention Centre at night. This is where the Congress was held.

A view from the 23rd floor of the Empire Landmark hotel looking east along Robson St., one of the major shopping streets in downtown Vancouver.

The exhibition hall featured all the major pharmaceutical companies as well as a number of NMOs. There were plenty of games to be played and merchandise to be had.
