How to get your article on Los Bleedos |   |
Everybody has a story to tell. Are you ready to share yours with us? If so, here is quick guide to getting your story on Los Bleedos.
There are two ways you can contribute your article to Los Bleedos.
If you want to write a short story, it may be most appropriate to write it under one of the topics in the discussion forum. In order to write in the forum you must have created a profile and be logged in. To learn how to create a profile and log in, read our quick guide. Once you are logged in, you should find the topic most appropriate for your story. Click on "Forum" in the menu to view all topics. Select the one that matches your story. If you can not find an immediate match, we have create a catch-all topic called "Other" that you can use. To write your story, click on the topic and then on "Create new thread". Write your text and click Save. You have just made your first contribution to los-bleedos.net!
If you want to write a longer story and maybe add a photo or two, you should write a proper article. A article may be one in a series about a common topic, or it may stand alone. Here is a four step guide to getting your article posted on los-bleedos.net:

Think a bit about the topic you want to write about and try to find an interesting angle on the story, that other users may be inspired by. |

Contact the Los Bleedos editors at editors@los-bleedos.net and tell us about your idea. We will be happy to guide you and offer good ideas, constructive criticism and proofreading. |

Write your article in a text processing system (Open Office, MS Word, Wordpad or similar) and perhaps find one or two photos to illustrate your story. You are most welcome to send drafts to the editors for review and guidance during this phase. |

Send your finished article to the editors. We will put it on the website and add appropriate links from the front page and elsewhere. We will let you know as soon as the article is online. |
