About Los Bleedos

Los Bleedos International was launched in May 2006 as a follow on to the Danish language version that had existed in cyberspace since October 2004.

Los Bleedos aims to be the number one website for young people with haemophilia from around the world to exchange experience and ideas. We hope the website can help build stronger ties between youth groups and promote new ways of cooperation, ultimately strengthening the youth groups themselves.

Los Bleedos combines the informative articles of a traditional website with the interactive elements of an online community. The site allows users to create a personal profile that includes a guestbook and a picture gallery. The site also hosts a discussion forum, where any user can post questions, ideas and announcements.

We strongly encourage our users to contribute to the website. Contributing can be done by writing in the discussion forum or by submitting articles. For users just getting started, we have a quick guide to the site that explains how to use the various functions.

To make full use of the website, users should register and create a profile. This will allow access to write new entries in the discussion forum and new entries in the guestbooks of other users. Registration is entirely free and can be accomplished in a matter of minutes. In order to protect against false registrations, the profile must be activated via e-mail, so users must have an e-mail address to sign up.

Los Bleedos is maintained by a group of volunteers, who are currently all from Denmark. However, we warmly welcome volunteers from other countries. If you would like to be a part of the team and help us with writing articles, editing, or making improvements to the website, please contact us.
